- About me - As Local History librarian for Burlington Public Library I have become fascinated with Halton tales of old. As a long-time resident of Hamilton (my Loyalist family on my mother's side go back in this area to the late 1700's) I am very proud of Hamilton-Wentworth's illustrious past. As I straddle both municipalites, so to speak, I wanted to research, write about and celebrate the histories of both great places. I also want to let you, the reader, know about events where you too can catch the history bug!
